Fill That Doctor Who Gap in Your Life

Whovians had a bit of an overdose these past few months with the 50th Anniversary special, and then the Christmas Special. However, now begins the long, dark, teatime of our soul, as the new series with Capaldi’s premiere isn’t due until Autumn 2014. The good news is that Moffat says we’ll get the entire season together, with no split.

But what’s a Whovian to do in the meantime?

Titan Comics has the answer!

“Titan Comics is pleased to announce all-new Doctor Who comic books coming in 2014, with new adventures featuring the Tenth Doctor, Eleventh Doctor and, after the new series launch, the Twelfth Doctor.
Whovians can keep up to date on this latest development by following announcements on Facebook or follow @ComicsTitan on Twitter.”

This could prove very interesting depending on the artists, writers they get. One of the things that’s always been great about the Doctor Who universe is how much is unsaid. Think of all the gaps in stories that they could cover in the comics! How many untold stories they have! Also, for those of us still suffering the pain of regeneration, it’s a way to spend more time with our beloved 10th and 11th Doctors.

I look forward to seeing what they do with this. What about you? What are you looking forward to?

About Karra Shimabukuro

I am a PhD student at University of New Mexico, my research focuses on medieval literature, folklore, and popular culture. My writing tends to focus on television and movies, but usually with a focus on how things are all connected. I'm a reference snob. I often consider myself a Geek by Proxy- the coolest people I ever met were geeks, and at a young age found myself devouring all the cool things they knew/saw/did. In my days off I can be found on the Interweb spreading joy and enlightenment. And I can always be found in the company of my bebe puppy Nehi. @khkshimabukuro
