I’ve been thinking about this match up for a while, and since April is the 4th month of the year I’ve had a 4 theme, so let’s see what happens when you put Family Vs Family in this months Last One Standing.
Fantastic Four
Mr.Fantastic: Super elasticity giving near invulnerability and some shape shifting powers, extremely smart and a skilled pilot.
Invisible Woman: Invisibility and force field generating powers
The Thing: Nearly indestructible and super strength
Human Torch: Quick acting, overly excitable fire powered kid
Token black super friend: Black Panther, martial arts supreme and ruler of Wakanda
Evil scientist arch enemy with a connection to their past: Dr.Doom, ex-roommate severely jealous of Mr.Fantastic and his love Invisible Woman
Short fat subterranean enemy:Mole Man, small, dirty monster master
The Incredibles
Mr.Incredible: Nearly indestructible with super strength
Elastigirl: Super elasticity giving near invulnerability and some shape shifting powers, extremely smart and a skilled pilot.
Violet: Invisibility and force field generating powers
Dash: Quick acting, overly excitable speed powered kid
Jak-Jak: Seemingly unlimited powers in a baby.
Token black super friend: Frozone, ice powered best friend of Mr.Incredible
Evil scientist arch enemy with a connection to their past: Syndrome, ex-“sidekick,” severely jealous of Mr.Incredible and his powers
Short fat subterranean enemy: The Underminer, small, dirty giant drill driving villain
So, who wins?
It basically boils down to who is stronger. Taking out Jak-Jak (a battlefield is no place for a baby), and pitting Dash against the Human Torch, since all the others cancel each other out, is Johnny fast enough to catch Dash with his fire? Is Dash smart enough to create a cyclone taking the air out of the area and causing Johnny to flame out? After some thinking, The Fantastic 4 win. Why? Experience.
