What has that hot chick from House, James Bond, Han Solo, and Aliens? Cowboys and Aliens of course.
I was excited yet skeptical walking in to this one and didn’t fail to impress. The characters in the story were well written and we’ll translated by the actors and actresses that played them. One of my worries going in was that Daniel Craig would be a cowboy the same way Liam Nelson was a cowboy; just a little too English, however, Craig didn’t disappoint. Seeing Harrison Ford as a “bad guy” was a little odd at first, but he shows his true colors later in the movie to show that he is a bad guy doing good.
At the end of the film it seems as if every conflict is resolved for every character and everyone loves everybody. Several people said that they hated the happy lucky ending, however, I think that with the trend of bittersweet ending going around in the movies lately it’s refreshing to see a story written to be “feel good” at the end.
Overall I was pleasantly surprised at the movie that Cowboys and Aliens was. I think it’s an entertaining movie with a story that greatly improves on the original idea. So wether you are familiar with the trade publication or not give Cowboys and Aliens a shot and I doubt that you’ll be disappointed.

The GN (which I own) is crap, this movie is not crap.
The supporting cast is awesome, The kid from The Last Airbender, Clancy Brown, Sam Rockwell what group of fun actors. The ending was a bit lame, but it sure was fun. Not as good as Iron Man, but on par with Iron Man 2. Good Job Favreu
