I would just like to start out with saying I did not spend .99 on this app, it was free before the movie was released. That being said, it’s still a good little video app, with a decent selection of filters to film your Super 8 videos.

Apply the grainy film lines, or not, and add different vignettes or keep it simple. Use a flash, if you have one on the device you’re using. Add a count down screen before you process the video (in app) or simply create a video without one. The video below is one without a countdown screen and anything fancy. You can watch your videos in app, and they’ll be saved in app, unless you save them to the album. You can also email them from the app.

Final impression: A decent vintage-inspired video app. Definitely a great grab for free, but also worth the .99 they want for it.

Hey. Say hello to my outdoor cat.
