Ramblin’ Don’s Random Rambles

My current random thoughts.

Guess what!!!! It is book review time!!!! I know you all have been waiting for this. So with no more delay let us get on with it! Well to be honest I read this book months ago. I just get lazy sometimes and don’t feel like writing about what I read.

The reason I picked up this book is because I have found another author to add to my favorite list. As my faithful readers will note I have already read and reviewed a book from this man. Today’s book is “A Short History of Nearly Everything” by Bill Bryson. To be more specific this edition is the Special Illustrated Edition. That may not sound like much but some graphics and photos can really help you grasp some of the far out science in this book. Now I do mean far out as in crazy but far out as in it is so abstract. And that my friends is why I like this writer. He can take something so complex and make it manageable for us little guys. I love science as much as the next lonely loser but I hate trying to understand all the abstract math and ideas.

READ THIS BOOK

I highly recommend this book for all science guys and nerds alike. Heck even geeks might like it! This book covers so much from the tectonic plates to thermo-dynamics that it is mind boggling that you don’t get lost and drift away in awe. So, to get to the point I highly recommend this book to everyone who ever had any interest in science and the world around them.

So, sorry if I do not get real in depth with this but I hate trying to put into words how great a read this book was! Well, friends thank you again for another week and as always feel free to leave a question or comment!
