The first time I saw a Wes Anderson movie (The Royal Tenenbaums), I sat in front of the television with my head cocked to the side for an hour and a half. I had the same reaction with this, but only for the few minutes the trailer played.
This is the very definition of parody. (And a good one, if I may say so. I have a weakness for movies with catchy music from bands I don’t know and on-purpose flatly delivered dialogue.)
