As with all of the Lenore comics before it, Lenore #8 brings more hilarity ad shenanigans to Lenore’s dead girl world. For anyone who has read the Lenore series this issue is a no brainer and if you haven’t read Lenore then what the heck are you waiting for?
In this issue a TV ghost hunting show finds its way to Lenore’s house looking for ghosts only to find a mini-gun turret, a wooden pitchfork, a tube of lube, and rectal blood…
Yeah, it;s like that.
While Lenore, Pooty, and Ragamuffin hang out in another dimension with their tentacled, top hat loving, over excited alternates; the ghost team tries to uncover the house’s mysteries. This proves to be difficult because the entire time the ghost hunters are looking for proof of life after death, a child protecting demon from the time of the pharaohs is doing what it does best, killing. The entire book is filled with the obviously funny situations and Lenore’s obliviousness about how the real world works.
